? How to Make Your Penguin Spoon
This penguin spoon craft is really fun and easy to make. Use our printable template and a few simple supplies to make this adorable winter animal craft that doubles as a puppet!
? Step 1: Get Your Supplies Ready
First, gather all your materials. Make sure everything is ready before you start.

? Step 2: Make the Penguin’s Body
- Use the printable template to cut out the shapes from thick paper (cardstock).
- Use black for the body, orange for the beak, and yellow for the feet.
- Gently fold the penguin shape (don’t press too hard).
- Cut on the line shown in the template.
- Slide your spoon through the hole you made.
- The round back of the spoon should be facing forward — that’s the penguin’s tummy!

? Step 3: Add the Cute Details
- Put a little glue near the bottom on both sides of the spoon.
- Stick the yellow feet there.
- Fold the orange beak in half and add glue on the fold.
- Stick the beak just above the spoon.
- Add googly eyes above the beak.

? Tip for grown-ups: Strong glue like tacky glue or hot glue works better so the feet and beak don’t fall off during playtime.
? Step 4: Make Earmuffs (Optional but Fun!)
- Cut a small piece of pipe cleaner (about 2 inches).
- Bend it into a curve.
- Add small pom-poms on each end with glue.
- Stick the pom-poms on both sides of the penguin’s head.

Now your penguin has cozy winter earmuffs! ❄️
